Courses Faqs
Yes we can set up course access to drip feed course content to your student’s needs. Our experience of providing to universities tells us that it is probably better to release a whole course at one time and then structure activities and prompts to send students to do certain activities. We’ve found that students prefer to dip in to the courses on the topics they find most interesting (non-linear) rather than following a specific structure – but drip feeding can be set up if you prefer.
How does lifetime access sound? When we say lifetime we mean as long as we’re living and breathing. Even then we have a contingency plan in place to be able to let our content live on as long as the internet is going!
We have found students do like coming back to the course content when they have a specific need, for example, students with access to Graduate to Performance course dip back in for the’Applying for jobs’ and ‘Interviewing’ sections.
Yes. We can create a bespoke package for your needs. Just let us know what course you are interested in and we can create a bundle for you
The learning is predominantly online, video based courses. For example, there are no tests in our courses – just as there won’t be when professionals develop work skills in work. There are numerous exercises in the courses to stretch student thinking and skills.
Yes and no. The Applied Pro Courses are discipline specific. A big focus though is about how you work, your skills and importantly thinking in an interdisciplinary way (we believe you’ll probably have more than enough knowledge, but it’s how you use that knowledge that will determine your effectiveness). However, there are discipline specific interviews, guides and examples and there is a chance for you to create discipline specific forum discussions with people of a similar interest.
Analytics are not provided as standard. Analytics are available for an additional charge of £950 ex VAT per 100 students per year.
Yes! This is optional for students and they will recived details of how the can join the community at no extra cost (lifetime access). The community allows access to all of our replayable webinars, talks, development sessions, live virtual events and earning and learning resources.
Not specifically. The courses are certificated and several courses are mapped to professional accreditation pathways with BASES but not certified by any specific body. The main focus of the courses, is to prepare them for work and allow them to thrive in work and traditional governing body accreditation does not always align with what employers need. Our courses are informed by what industry needs not necessarily what accreditation needs.
